IS THE PRODUCT THAT I PURCHASE OF QUALITY?

All the products shown on WOM.TASTE14 report transparently and clearly the main rewards the product has received; we choose only cellars and producers with recognized quality.

Caution! There may be some products that our staff deems of higher quality but not yet well-known to guides, to the most famous reviewers; you will recognize easily and transparently these few products by them not reporting rewards in the dedicated section.

Caution! It isn’t enough to say that, for example, Pinot Grigio is a  good wine. There are several cellars that produce it with different qualities. It is therefore important, indeed fundamental, the value of the cellar producing it. But it isn’t enough; the cellar may make a Pinot Grigio labelled ‘Pluto’ with high-quality features (vineyards’ exposure, grape harvest, vinification, ageing, …) different to the ‘Paperino’ label which instead is produced with more standard conditions. Undoubtedly two good wines, if the cellar is of quality anyway, but pay attention to the price … if you pay a certain price, if you want to compare on internet or in a shop a wine’s prices the label must be the same.

On our shop-window you will always find the whole label of the wine that we propose … it may go without saying but it is part of a quality, guarantee and ethics built with a lot small/big details.

WHO ATTESTS THE GOOD’S QUALITY?

Our products receive three certifications.

  1. our staff’s certification;
  2. the certification of sector guides nationally and internationally recognized;
  3. 3 your certificiations on social networks;

You can find the first two clearly specified on the display-window; if they are shown on the display-window, they have certainly had our certification; if they have received certificates and rewards, these are reported on the good’s profile … and then there are your opinions on social networks to which we pay attention and which and thanks to which we are constantly growing.

DOES THE PURCHASED PRODUCT  ARRIVE INTACT?

We buy straight from producers; wine is kept in our warehouses, air-conditioned according to the different needs of the products, and from there it moves to your house quickly and in tested and patented packages. So we can grant that the product hasn’t stayed for long periods in places not complying with the ideal storage conditions.

Wine&food products are alive products; unfortunately, it sometimes occurs (as you yourself must have often noticed) that wine stays for weeks and months in places (supermarkets, shops, bars, …) with incorrect climatic conditions (at night, in days off) and well shown in cellars, elegant display cabinets, vertical exhibitors exposed to light (and sometimes also to sunlight) all day.

The result of a wrong storage is a very disappointing, oxidized wine (that you remembered great) that, even without getting to the ‘Marsala wine’ sensation, doesn’t arouse anymore those pleasing sensations that you expected.

HOW WAS THE GOODS’ ARRAY CHOSEN?

WOM.TASTE14 isn’t a supermarket but a specialized shop that suggests products. Here you will find wines and products ranging over all national areas, but of each vine variety, of each product, you will find only a few guaranteed labels; wines from Val d’Aosta to Sicily, great traditional wines, innovative blends, great everyday wines. Furthermore a series of information that, starting from your preferences and the food to match, will always make you choose the right wine.

And with our selections, or by looking up the whole list, you may follow an itinerary of tastings throughout Italy as the time goes by; you will find out what your tastes and preferences are. We guarantee you that everything you will taste is of quality.

ARE THE PRODUCTS’ PRICES COMPETITIVE?

We pay particular attention to guaranteeing the right price for each product.

We don’t love showing blown-up ‘prices’ to then declare exaggerated discounts (which is, moreover, forbidden not only by ethics but also by the norms regulating the eCommerce sales).

You will be likely to find, sometimes, a cheaper price; it occurs, also to us, to have stocked up very much on a product and to have to offer it at a cheap price to sell it out.

Nothing wrong; just pay attention to the seller’s reliability so that it won’t occur that:

  • The product is too close to the expiry date (it isn’t just about the legal one; an oil loses a lot of quality after 2 years from production; a ‘normal’ white wine loses quality from the second year…)
  • The product was badly stored (a lot prepared for export, detained at customs, under the sun, for weeks or months, and then sold discounted on internet … it has occurred!!)

A lot of wines and products are artisan-made by men that still have a lot of passion, love and expertise; many of these pay attention to not supplying their products to those who don’t safeguard their name with right prices and storages guaranteeing the product’s integrity; but on the other hand it is necessary to sell and sometimes – fortunately not always – the wine or product arrived from the producer to the wholesaler or supplier goes through  a route not anymore traceable and certifiable.

This guarantee that we offer on WOM:TASTE14 doesn’t involve additional costs; our price is anyway competitive with the others … but in some cases it could have a higher ‘value’ for you.

DO WOM.TASTE14 PRICES INCLUDE VAT AND SHIPMENT?

Yes, our prices include  VAT (in the trolley the amount without VAT will appear as well, but the prices shown in the shop-window always include VAT; about the shipment, this is free for shipments in Italy, to non-uncomfortable areas, for wares of total amount higher than 100€. The detailed shipment costs for uncomfortable areas, minor islands and abroad is shown in the purchase-trolley and is calculated after having specified the destination address.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE THE PRODUCTS?

All products on WOM.TASTE14 are purchasable directly on-line on the site following the purchase procedure; the purchase procedure will suggest you step by step the operations to make in order to define your order. The purchase procedure is simple and safe

We are always willing to solve all your doubts; by email to send to the address info@taste14.com or by telephone – during office hours to the number +39 06 65008739.

To purchase you will be able to sign up on the website and anyway provide the minimum information needed to refine the wares’ purchase and shipment.

IMPORTANT: Customarily, safe exceptions, on the website there are products deliverable in 48 hours (present in the Honos srl warehouses at the moment of the order) and products deliverable in 7 days. For the products deliverable in 7 days we carry out the order at the moment of your purchase; this may - besides introducing delays into the 7 days if our supplier delays the delivery - not guarantee the full correspondence of the product to the features quoted on the site (for example, the wine’s year may not be the same in case of the year’s depletion by the supplier). Honos srl will refund anyway the wares’ amount with ‘changed’ features on the customer’s request.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE SUGGESTED AND DEEMED SAFE FOR THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS ON WOM?

WOM:TASTE14 considers various methods of payment.

The payment method by credit card or PayPal is very safe; if, however, don’t want to pay by credit card or find it more comfortable you can pay even by bank transfer. Furthermore, for the registered customers it is possible, upon your authorization at the end of the order, even to pay by cash on delivery that is to pay at the delivery in cash to the courier with a minimal additional cost.

If the payment method that you have chosen is that by credit card or PayPal, we inform you that the whole payment procedure is carried out directly or exclusively on the bank’s computers assuring this way the highest level of protection of the data inserted by you. Then, through the PayPal system, which can be used also with your Credit Card of the most famous circuits, the transactions are ensured. The PayPal-operation cost is exclusively at the expense of WOM.TASTE14.

WHY ISN’T THE DELIVERY ALWAYS FREE BUT IT IS SO ONLY FOR PURCHASES HIGHER THAN 100€?

The shipment costs in Italy are still quite high if compared with other European regions; this certainly is one of the reasons curbing eCommerce spread over Italy. To favour eCommerce spread it is by now usual to offer a free shipment but, in general, after a certain amount.

WOM.TASTE14 is obviously an initiative aimed at offering products of quality gaining from the sales a proper reward. It is possible to write off shipment costs on purchases  of more than 100€…writing off the shipment costs on a 10€ single bottle is impossible. We could  slightly arise all products’ prices and always offer the shipment for free… but the customers buying more bottles would be very penalized unjustly.

WHY IS THE APPOINTMENT SERVICE WITH FEE?

For the same reasons ensuring that WOM.TASTE14 offers the shipment for free only beyond 100€. We prefer to keep as cheap as possible the products’ prices; who has a caretaker, has always someone at home, has a neighbor willing to collect the wares, can’t and mustn’t incur a general cost that in any case would weigh on the prices, even if minimally.

HOW IS THE SHIPMENT CARRIED OUT?

Wine (and the products) is sent straight to your house, or to the address you have specified, with a pony express and a special packaging, patented, studied in order to safeguard the wine during the transport.

If, despite these precautions, at the wares’ delivery there are signs of damages or alterations you must act as specified in the answer to the question “If the package that I receive is damaged how must I act?”

If, for any reason, you aren’t satisfied with the wares, you will be able to avail yourself of the right of withdrawal from the purchase contract, keeping to the procedure reported in “Terms and conditions – right of withdrawal”

AS THERE IS NOONE AT HOME DURING THE OFFICE HOURS, CAN I HAVE THE GOODS DELIVERED TO ANOTHER ADDRESS?

Absolutely yes, in the order form it is always possible to specify a shipping address different from the billing one or anyway from that used for the previous purchase; you can thus specify for the delivery the address of a neighbor, of a friend, of the office; you can, then, calmly change this address at the next purchase.

AS THERE ISN’T A CONSTANT PRESENCE AT HOME DURING OFFICE HOURS, CAN I SET AN APPOINTMENT?

Absolutely yes, in the purchase form it is possible, with a small extra charge, to request the appointment service; it will be the courier’s care to contact you to set an appointment.

IN HOW MUCH TIME WILL I RECEIVE THE WARES IN ITALY?

The delivery in Italy takes place normally in two working days from the reception of the payment in all areas of Italy apart from uncomfortable areas and minor islands (as specified in detail in “Terms and conditions – shipments and delivery”; for uncomfortable areas and minor islands it can be postponed due to the difficulty in reaching these geographical areas.

For the products not available at the moment in the warehouse, on the good’s profile – price box -  a delivery time different from 48 hours is specified (normally 7 days are specified). For the deliveries abroad, the times specified on each product are roughly valid (with reference to the product that needs more days).

IF THE PACKAGE THAT THE COURIER HAS DELIVERED ME IS DAMAGED HOW DO I HAVE TO ACT?

If at the moment of the courier’s delivery the packages are noticeably damaged, broken or stained by the pouring out of wine, foreshadowing broken bottles, you are required to return the shipment to the sender; it will be your care to carry out the shipment again.

If the shipment is of more packages and not all are damaged, we ask you to return only the damaged package or packages to the sender by signing the courier’s seal with the indication “with reservation”. As well as for the previous case, it will be your care to carry out the shipment of the returned packages.

In all cases, the wares’ return and new shipment’s costs are at the expense of WOM.TASTE14.

The gifts section is one of our offer’s strong points; our concept of gift is to be applied not only to Christmas holidays but to the whole year. Gifts with different possibilities of choice. In confections assorted and proposed by our experts, that you compose by selecting products from our overall offer, with a purchase coupon to use in favour of the gift’s beneficiary. To provide a more complete service, we can certainly deliver the gifts directly at the beneficiaries’ houses relying on a list of addresses that you will provide us by email; we can obviously also make one delivery to your firm. BY WHAT BROWSERS IS THE WOM PLATFORM SUPPORTED?

If your browser isn’t supported (completely or partially) by the WOM.TASTE14 platform the message “Caution – the used browser is obsolete” will appear on the Home Page. For serfing better on www.wom.taste14.com it is necessary to update the browser’s version.

CAUTION! There may be problems even with updated browsers if you have set up the ‘compatibility’ function that is customarily used to display better, with your updated browser, old websites. If there are problems with www.wom.taste14.com, try to remove this ‘compatibility’ (on IE8 it appears above, on the right side of the space where the website name has to be keyed in, with an icon representing a split rectangle).

CAUTION! If the pages’ display looks incorrect verify that the browser’s zoom is set up at 100%.

CAUTION! If you haven’t used WOM.TASTE14 for long and you have never cleaned out your computer’s cache meanwhile, the functional updates of the website may not appear (the list of products and prices are in any case always updated regardless to the cache).
